Scholar is a web-based writing and learning environment which brings together formative assessment (diagnosis and feedback) and summative assessment (measuring student progress over time and in comparison with other learners). The Scholar team has been working with instructors in a variety of settings to field-test the product, build new features, and develop a greater understanding of social media and computer-supported learning environments.
